Terms
Terms of use.
Last updated 18 October 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and United by Threads when you use the website and the desk. By making an account or using the service you agree to them. If something here is unclear, write to hello@unitedbythreads.ca.
What the service is
United by Threads reads Vedic astrology from your birth details: charts, readings, daily readings, compatibility reports and an astrologer you can ask. The writing is produced with the help of AI, from calculations of your chart.
What it is not
Astrology is a tradition of reflection, not a science that predicts. Nothing on the service is medical, legal, financial or psychological advice, and it is not a substitute for a professional who knows your situation. Please don’t make decisions about your health, money, safety or relationships on a reading alone. If you are in crisis, contact your local emergency number or a crisis line — the service will point you to one if you tell it you are struggling.
Your account
- You must be 16 or over, and give an email address you control.
- Keep access to that email to yourself: the codes we send to it are how you sign in.
- Only add someone else’s birth details if they would be happy for you to.
- Don’t misuse the service: no attempts to break it, overload it, get at other people’s accounts, or resell what it writes as your own service.
We may suspend an account that breaks these terms. You can close yours at any time from your account page.
Free and Plus
- Free includes the whole desk with a monthly allowance of readings, messages and compatibility reports. Plus raises those allowances.
- Plus is a subscription. It renews automatically for the period you chose until you cancel; cancel any time from your account and it runs to the end of the period you have paid for.
- Prices are shown before you pay, in your currency where we can, and may include taxes where they apply. If we change the price, we tell you before your next renewal.
- If something went wrong with a payment or a reading, write to us — we would rather put it right.
What you write, and what we write for you
What you tell us stays yours; you let us use it to provide the service, as the privacy policy describes. The readings and reports we write are for your personal use — keep them, share them with people you know.
The service as it is
We work to keep the service accurate and available, but we provide it as it is, and it may change, pause or have errors. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, or for decisions made on the strength of a reading; our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms removes rights you have under the law where you live.
Changes
If we change these terms, we update this page and its date, and tell you by email before a change that matters takes effect.
